5CrMnNiMoVSCa钢是易切削塑料模具钢。该钢经调质处理后,硬度在HRC35~45范围内,具有良好的切削加工性能,因此,可用预硬化钢材直接加工成模具,既能保证模具的使用性能,又能避免由于最终热处理引起的模具变形。该钢淬透性高.强韧性好,镜面抛光性能好,具有良好的氮化性能和渗硼性能,调质钢材经氮化处理后基体硬度变化不大。该钢适宜制造各种类型的精密注塑塑料模具.胶木模和橡胶模等。
