1、 数控加工技术特点

数控加工技术分为数控机床和数控编程两方面，其中，数控加工机床属于模具制造中的硬件设施，直接影响着模具加工的质量和效率；数控编程则属于软件设施，可以满足不同模具的加工要求，从而方便、高效的完成了加工任务。

1.1 高质量的产品性能

传统的模具制造技术不成熟，制造工艺较粗糙，加工产生的次品和废品率较高，模具质量较低，难以满足高质量的要求。相比与传统的模具制造，数控加工技术采用了数字一体化操作系统，能较好的控制误差，保证加工精度且质量稳定。

1.2 较复杂的零件加工

数控机床的驱动装置主要由主轴电机、进给单元、进给电机及主轴驱动单元四部分组成，能够实现多坐标的联动，完成模具生产的各项复杂工作，适用于加工复杂模具。
1.3 高效的生产率

随着市场经济的不断发展，需要有竞争力的产品来带动生产效率的提高，模具制造周期、产品质量及加工生产成本，对模具产品的市场竞争力影响较大。因此，如何缩短模具制造周期、提高产品质量显得尤为重要。

数控加工技术利用数字操作系统对加工过程进行控制，大大缩短了模具制造时间，整个加工生产过程高速、高效，提高了生产效率和产品质量。

1.4 高度的自动化

数控加工技术采用数字化的操作技术，连续性好，自动化高。相对于传统的加工技术来说，不但能降低操作工人的劳动强度，而且模具制造的连续性好，不易出错，能够提高模具的加工效率高，且质量较好。

在自动化技术下，生产可以实现流水线，各部分的操作人员只需按要求进行操作即可。因此，数控加工技术被不断应用于模具的加工生产中，进一步提高了企业的经济效益

1.5 对操作人员技术要求高

同传统模具制造不同，数控加工技术多操作人员的专业水平要求较高，需要具备专业的数字化技能，除必须掌握计算机操作技能外，还必须精通数控加工技术的各种控制语言，只有熟练掌握数控加工语言，才能完成代码的编写，实现对数控机床的操控。
