PBT具有以下特性:结晶速度快，可快速成型，吸水率低，电气性能优异且随温湿度变化小，耐候性好，适于户外使用，且耐药品性优异，力学性能优良。纯PBT树脂有优异的冲击韧性，但对缺口较刺激，经玻纤增强后，不仅可使缺口刺激性得到改善，而且还能使热变形温度大大提高，弯曲模量成倍增长，突出的耐摩擦和耐磨耗特性，磨耗量比POM还小。PBT的缺点为:结晶收缩率大，尺寸稳定性差。虽经增强后可改善收缩率，但容易发生翘曲，同时使无缺口冲击强度下降，对缺口刺激。由于PBT存在着这两个突出缺点，因而限制了它的应用。?（PBT has the following characteristics: fast crystallization speed, rapid molding, low water absorption, excellent electrical performance, small change with temperature and humidity, good weather resistance, suitable for outdoor use, excellent drug resistance and excellent mechanical properties.
