与其他材料相比，对气体、碳氢化合物和其他液体相对不渗透。具有高尺寸稳定性、低摩擦系数、低收缩率、良好的机械性能、高温抗蠕变性、高连续使用温度（160°C 至 240°C）和极低的吸湿性。具有高硬度、高刚性以及出色的耐腐蚀性、耐水解性、抗氧化性、抗冲击性、耐热休克性和抗石蜡堆积性。在高温下对 200°C 以下的所有溶剂、酸、碱、典型和替代汽车燃料以及石油油具有出色的耐化学性。

可通过注塑成型进行加工。适用于无铅焊接和金属更换应用。符合RoHS、PFOS和PFOA法规。

FORTRON 6150T6 is a linear, semicrystalline polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) specialty grade reinforced with 50 glass and mineral fiber. Is relatively impermeable to gases, hydrocarbons and other liquids compared to other materials. Provides high dimensional stability, low coefficient of friction, low shrinkage, excellent mechanical properties, creep resistance at high temperatures, high continuous use temperature (160°C to 240°C) and very low moisture absorption. Offers high hardness, high rigidity and excellent resistance to corrosion, hydrolysis, oxidation, impact, heat-shock and paraffin buildup. Shows excellent chemical resistance to all solvents below 200°C, acids, bases, typical and alternative automotive fuels and petroleum fluids at elevated temperatures. Can be processed by injection molding. Is suitable for lead-free soldering and metal replacement applications. Complies with RoHS, PFOS and PFOA regulations.
